MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis baseball team is back at home for a pair of mid-week games at FedExPark Avron Fogelman Field against UA-Little Rock at 6 p.m. Tuesday night and Arkansas State at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Tigers (11-9) won a mid-week game at UALR a week ago, 3-2, and now the Trojans will travel to Memphis. After winning their mid-week, the Tigers traveled to Hammond, La., for a three-game set with Southeastern Louisiana, winning the series two games to one.

"We had competitive at-bats and guys made adjustments from one at-bat to the next and even during at-bats at times," head coach Kerrick Jackson remarked after the series win. "This is how we need to play and if we do, we'll be in a good position moving forward. Great weekend series to get and looking forward to the next one."

The Trojans (10-7) will enter Tuesday coming off a series loss to Northwestern State in which they salvaged to win the Sunday series finale. Offensively, UA-Little Rock is led by Skyler Trevino (.351 BA, 7 HR, 25 RBI) and Nico Baumbach (.317 BA, 8 HR, 17 RBI). Memphis owns a 41-11 all-time advantage in the series after winning on March 14.

Arkansas State (7-11) squares off with Mississippi State in Starkville on Tuesday night before heading up to Memphis. The Red Wolves have lost six-straight games and are 0-4 on the road this season. They are led offensively by Brandon Hager (.385 BA, 1 HR, 3 2B, 15 RBI) and Kody Darcy (.299 BA, 2 HR, 10 2B, 24 RBI).
Austin Baskin leads the Tigers with a .356 batting average and eight doubles on the year, slugging three homeruns and knocking in 13 runs. In addition, Baskin has tallied a team-best 10 multi-hit games in 19 starts this season. First baseman Anthony Hansen has hit safely in 16 of 18 games this season and carries a .343 average to go with a team-leading four home runs and .477 on-base percentage.
