Isaiah Jackson fires 4-under 68 to pace the UofM
VERO BEACH, Fla. – Isaiah Jackson and Rodi Vlasveld shot under-par rounds Monday on the second day of the Quail Valley Intercollegiate to help the University of Memphis to an even-par 288. The Tigers are in ninth place at 4-over 580 through 36 holes, 22 strokes behind leader USF.

Jackson led the UofM with a 4-under 68 and Vlasveld shot 1-under 71 at the Quail Valley Golf Club. The final round of the 54-hole event will be played Tuesday.

Besides Jackson and Vlasveld, Brad Bawden (76), Chase Harris (73) and Jordan Even (76) competed for the Tigers, playing in their fourth event of the fall season. Bawden led the Tigers on the opening day with a 68. Jackson shot 71 Sunday and is in ninth place at 5-under 139.

McNeese State's Blake Elliott and USF's Ryoto Furuya are tied atop the player leaderboard at 9-under 135.
North Florida (at 17-under 559) is one shot behind leader USF, trying for a top-two finish in its second-straight event. USF led after 36 holes last weekend at the Intercollegiate at The Grove and placed second.

Memphis also is playing for the second-straight weekend. The Tigers finished 12th at the Intercollegiate at The Grove.
