2019-20 (Senior)
Jackson had a memorable 2019-20 season by posting Top 20 finishes in each of his seven events. . . . Set a school record for lowest season-scoring average (70.0 strokes) in those seven events. . . . Was named honorable mention PING All-American following the season. . . . In two spring events (Colleton River and Cleveland Palmetto), he finished 14th and 7th. . . . At the Colleton River Collegiate, he shot 1-under 215 (70-73-72) to help the Tigers to a fourth-place finish. . . . At The Cleveland Golf Palmetto, he finished at 1-under 209, closing with back-to-back rounds of 2-under 68. His strong played guided the Tigers to another fourth-place finish. . . . He entered the spring season ranked 49th nationally. . . . Had an outstanding fall season. He averaged 69.7 strokes to lead the team and posted Top-20 finishes all five events. . . . His best showing came at the Intercollegiate at Innisbrook, where he shot a career-best 65 in the second round en route to a second-place finish. 2018-19 (Junior)
Jackson had a standout first season with the Tigers. He averaged 72.6 strokes per round, second-best on the team, and posted six top-20 finishes en route to helping the UofM win its first league title in seven years and earn its first NCAA regional trip since 2016. . . . At the conference championship, he shot a 1-under 212 at Innisbrook Resort and finished in a tie for fifth. . . . He was one of three Tigers to participate in all 13 events in the spring and fall. . . . At the East Bay Deli Classic at Kiawah, S.C. in November, he followed an opening-round 66 with a 73 and 70 to post a 7-under 209 and share first-place honors with Charleston's Christian Baliker. . . . He tied for sixth in his first tournament, helping the Tigers to a second-place finish in Memphis Invitational at Colonial Country Club. . . . At the Quail Valley Intercollegiate in October, shot 71-69-68 for 208 and a tie for fifth. . . . Shot a final round even-par 70 in rainy, cold conditions to win the Patriot All-America Invitational in Arizona in December. His 5-under par 205 (67-68-70) was three shots better than second-place finishers Alex Scott from Grand Valley State University (68-67-73-208) and Quade Cummins from the University of Oklahoma (70-66-72-208). . . . By virtue of his win at the Patriot All-America, he earned a sponsor's exemption into June's Wichita Open, part of the developmental Korn Ferry Tour. . . . Jackson spent the past two years at Meridian Community College honing his skills. . . . During his time at Meridian, he placed in the Top 10 in 13 of the 14 tournaments in which he participated, including four first-place finishes. . . . He earned distinction as the No. 1 golfer in the NJCAA Division II. . . . Jackson's self-proclaimed most memorable golf moment was winning the MACJC State Championship with a 20-foot putt for birdie on the first playoff hole. . . . Under head coach Ronnie Key, Jackson was named a 2016-17 First-Team All-American and to the NJCAA Freshman All-American teams.
