MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis men's golf used a dominant day one of the Memphis Intercollegiate: Spirited by Old Dominick to cruise to a 12-stroke victory, their second team win of the season.

It's the first time in the Blake Smart era that the Tigers have won multiple tournaments in the same year; they also won the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational in October 2025.

Three Tigers placed in the top six of the individual leaderboard. Yixiang Wang used six birdies in round one to fuel a 4-under 68, completing the tournament at 3-under for his third top-two finish of the season. Diego Lourenco was just as dialed on Monday, posting 10 birdies across the two rounds en route to a third-place, 1-under finish. Christian Morneau posted a career-low 69 in round one to guide him to his best-ever finish of sixth.

Memphis' first round score of 8-under was the best team score of the entire competition, and they finished round two on Monday holding a 16-stroke lead over Eastern Kentucky in second. On a hotter, windier Tuesday at Colonial Country Club, no team shot below par and the Tigers were able to comfortably take the victory.

On par 4s, Memphis led the field by 15 strokes with a 4.10 average. They also led the way on par 5s with a 14-under (4.77 average).
