Track And Field Senior Salute: Jasmine Taylor

The University of Memphis track and field/cross country program's celebration of its 2018 senior class continues with the next of the 23 Tigers seniors.

Saturday's next senior salute is Jasmine Taylor.

Career Highlights

Ran primarily in the 400-meter hurdles in her career
Also a member of the 4x400 meter relay
Competed in three American Athletic Conference Championships, including this weekend's outdoor meet
Posted a personal-best in the 400-meter hurdles (1:01.51) at this weekend's conference championships
Her time improved on her previous-best (1:01.75) that she set at the Memphis Invitational in late April
Recorded seven career top-three finishes in all of her events (indoor/outdoor combined)
Best performance was at the Apr. 20-21 Arkansas State Red Wolves Invitational, where she was a double-winner
Placed first in both the 400-meter hurdles and 4x400 meter relay at the Red Wolves Invitational
Graduated from the University of Memphis May 5 with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice
