- Transferred to the University of Memphis from De Anza College in California prior to the 2016-17 year
- Competing in her second-straight American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships this weekend
- Advanced to the javelin finals at last year's American Athletic Conference Championships and placed ninth
- Posted two top-five performances in the javelin in her two years at Memphis
