The University of Memphis track and field/cross country program's celebration of its 2018 senior class continues with the next of the 23 Tigers seniors.

Thursday's next senior salute is Michael Carey.

Competing in his fifth American Athletic Conference Championships meet (indoor/outdoor combined) this weekend in Cincinnati, Ohio
Scored points in two of his previous four conference championships appearances
Member of the 4x100 meter relay that placed seventh at the 2015 American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships
Finished sixth in the 400-meter hurdles at the 2017 conference outdoor meet
Posted seven career top-three finishes in all of his hurdles events combined (indoor/outdoor)
Top hurdles performances were two second-place finishes in the 400-meter hurdles this spring (Rhodes College Invitational/Arkansas State Red Wolves Invitational)
Ran his personal-best in the 400-meter hurdles (52.75; finished third) at the Memphis Invitational two weeks ago
Three-time American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team honoree
Graduated from the University of Memphis May 5 with a bachelor's degree in business management
