Track And Field Senior Salute: Chy'enne LeNeair

The University of Memphis track and field/cross country program's celebration of its 2018 senior class continues with the 14^thof the 23 Tigers seniors.

Saturday's first senior salute is Chy'enne LeNeair.

Career Highlights

Transferred to the University of Memphis from Tennessee State for her final season of competition in 2017-18
Competed in five total meets in 2017-18, including four in the outdoor campaign
Set personal-bests in the indoor weight throw and outdoor hammer throw this season
In her only indoor appearance at Southeast Missouri's Redhawks Open, posted a 48-1.75 (14.67m) mark in the weight throw that improved her personal-best by over a foot
Competed only in the hammer throw in all four of her outdoor meet appearances
Recorded a personal-best 156-0 (47.54m) in the hammer throw, surpassing her previous-best mark by nearly 12 feet (144-2; 44.94m at Tennessee State)
Earned a master's degree in health promotion from the University of Memphis
