HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a 1-2-3 first inning from starter Avery Stutts, a walk and hit-by-pitch in the bottom half set up Deana Cunningham for a two-RBI double to put the Tigers up early.
- Cunningham was thrown out on the play after overrunning the bag at second, but it occurred after the second run scored.
- Ciara Gibson put Florida Atlantic on the board with an RBI double in the top of the second.

- It was Memphis' 20th double play turned this season, the first time since 2022 that a Tigers defense has turned at least 20.
- After Florida Atlantic turned to Ainsley Lambert in relief, Ariel Davis and Faith Brown drew back-to-back walks to start the inning, but Lambert struck out the next three Tiger hitters swinging.

- Kayla Clement, Neely Taylor and Ariel Davis all singled to load the bases.

- Another two-out error committed by the Memphis defense spelled trouble in the top of the sixth, as Florida Atlantic scored three runs on a pair of singles.
