MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's tennis team finished off a perfect weekend with a 4-1 victory over Tulsa at the Leftwich Tennis Center on Sunday.

A repeat from Saturday, the Tigers (3-1) dropped the doubles point, but dominated singles play to get the victory against the Golden Hurricane (5-2).

Memphis won the first doubles on court two behind a 6-0 shutout from Emily Meyer and Monique Woog, but Tulsa managed to pull out victories on courts three (6-3) and one (7-6(4)).

The Tigers put their foot down once singles began, winning the first set in five of the six matchups. Leone Moeller made quick work at the No. spot with a 6-1, 6-4 decision before Micah Pierce dominated 6-3, 6-3 at the sixth line to put Memphis in front.

Monique Woog put the victory within reach at the third position with a 6-3, 7-6(4) win. Camila Soares then clinched the match for Memphis at the No. 1 position with a 6-4, 7-6(4) victory.
