VERO BEACH, Fla. – The University of Memphis men's golf team concluded competition at the Quail Valley/Jake Owen Collegiate on Monday at Quail Valley Golf Club in Vero Beach, Fla.
The Tigers shot a blistering final round 275 (-13) to shoot up the leaderboard and finish tied for fifth overall with a 54-hole total of 843 (-21).
KEY MOMENTS
• Tyran Snyders was electric on Monday, carding a final round 66 (-6) to end the tournament in a tie for fourth with a score of 206 (-10).
• The sophomore had seven birdies on the day, including five on the back nine.
• His scores of 66 and 206, as well as his T-4 finish are all personal-bests.
• Not to be outdone, Esteban Vazquez also shot a final round 66 (-6) on Monday, ending the tournament tied for sixth with a score of 208 (-8).
• The sophomore was consistent all round, recording four birdies and one bogey on both the front and back nine.
• His totals of 66 and 208, as well as his T-6 are all personal-records.
• Senior Mitchell Bowlin had a great showing as well for Memphis, finishing in a tie for 34th with a score of 214 (-2). Bowlin's 214 is a personal-best.
• Sophomore Ryan van der Klis tied for 47th overall with a personal-record, 54-hole total of 217 (+1).
• Junior James Morgan took home 61st overall with a personal-best total of 219 (+3).
