Memphis Men’s Golf Ready for AAC Championship

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis men's golf team will head to Brooksville, Fla. to compete in the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Championship this weekend. The three-day tournament gets started on Friday, April 22 and runs through Sunday, April 24.
Live scoring for the event can be found at GoTigersGo.com. The third and final round of the AAC Championship will be broadcast on ESPN+ starting at 8:50 a.m. CT.
The 54-hole tournament will be played on the par 72 Southern Hill Plantation Club, that will play 7,274 yards on the weekend. Teams will play 18 holes each day. Complete details on the AAC Championship can be found here.
The nine-team field includes Memphis, Cincinnati, East Carolina, Houston, No. 43-ranked SMU, No. 42 South Florida, Temple, UCF and Wichita State.
In 2021, the Tigers placed in a tie for fifth place at the AAC Championship at the Southern Hills Plantation Club with a score of 869 (+5). Esteban Vazquez is the top returner from the event last season, where he tied for 22nd overall with a score of 220 (+4).
