Tigers Begin Conference Play at Wichita State

Memphis rides a four-game winning streak heading into weekend series
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – After taking care of business this week against Ole Miss and UT Martin, the University of Memphis softball team will begin conference play this weekend on the road at Wichita State. First pitch Friday afternoon in Wichita, Kan. is slated for 6 p.m.

- Memphis finished the 2017 AAC season with a 7-11 overall record and semifinal appearance in the AAC Championship. The shutout victory over USF in the quarterfinals was the first-ever win for Memphis in the AAC Championship.
- Memphis was selected to finish sixth in the AAC Preseason Poll.
