Babe Howard Classic in Millington Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Memphis and UT Martin square off at USA Stadium
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis and UT Martin will meet in the W.S. `Babe' Howard Classic Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at USA Stadium in Millington, Tenn. The game will be the final midweek contest for both teams.

The Fiesta Wagon food truck will be at the game to provide fans with more food options for fans. There will also be inflatable games. The ceremonial first pitch before the game will be delivered by the Commanding Officer of the Naval Base, Captain David J. Bryson.
Last season the Tigers outlasted the Skyhawks, 2-1, in 16 innings on a walk-off single by catcher Damo DeMatteo. UT Martin opened the game with a solo home run before five Memphis pitchers combined to pitch the next 15 2/3 scoreless.
Memphis narrowly dropped the series at league-leading Tulane last weekend. The Tigers dropped the opener 1-0 before rebounding with an 8-1. The Green Wave took the series with a late-inning comeback win Sunday.
Senior outfielder Jake Little continues to lead the Tigers' offense with a .320 batting average, 26 RBI and 34 runs scored. He has started every game this season in right field.
Junior Darien Tubbs has raised his batting average up to .283 after a big weekend in New Orleans. He finished with weekend strong with a 4-for-4 game with three doubles on Sunday.
UT Martin has a team batting average of .297 and the Skyhawks score an average of 6.5 runs per game. The team's pitching staff has struggled though with an earned run average of 8.28.
Memphis will close out the regular season at FedExPark with a three game series against Cincinnati. The series gets underway Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and continues Friday at 6:30 p.m. with a 1 p.m. finale for Senior Day on Saturday.
