- Jessica Phillips tied a conference record and set a school record with three home runs, including a walk-off grand slam. Phillips ties Houston’s Kristen Glowacz who hit three against Nebraska on March 6, 2005. It is the third multi-homer game of the season for Phillips and fourth of her career. She now has nine home runs on the season and 25 RBI.
- The three home runs by Jessica Phillips sets a C-USA record for most homers in a conference game. The previous record of three was done several times. The 12 total bases is also a conference game record with the previous high being 10.
- Jessica Phillips also set a school record with 12 total bases in the game and ties for third with six RBI. The school record is eight by Melissa Nance against Lipscomb in March 14, 2007. The 12 total bases tie the conference record with Megan Hill (Southern Miss vs. La. Tech, Feb. 24, 2007) and Kristen Glowacz (Houston vs. Nebraska, March 6, 2005).
- Memphis set a school record with six home runs in the game. The previous record was four reached three times with the last coming against Wichita State to open the 2010 season.
- The six home runs by Memphis ties a Conference USA record with four other teams. It is also a record for home runs in a conference game. The 36 total bases by Memphis in the game is a new C-USA conference game record, surpassing the previous record of 34 by Louisville in 2005 against Saint Louis.
- Maddie McKinley hit a career high two home runs and tied her career best with four RBI and three runs scored.
- Lelani Bernardino set a school record with four walks and tied her career best with three runs scored.
- Memphis drew a school record 10 walks in the game, surpassing the previous high of nine.
- Shanna Brown recorded her first hit of the season and went 1-for-2 in a start as the designated player.
- Kamri Chester went 3-for-3 with a run scored and two doubles. The two doubles is a career high. She now has five doubles on the season.
- Carly Hummel picked up her second win of the series and improves to 12-3. She allowed two runs on three hits in three innings and is now 17-2 in starts when Memphis scores three runs or more.
- Nikki Moreno continued her hot streak and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored. She tied her career high with the two hits and hit her first double of the season.
- Heather Mott hit her fifth homer of the season to lead off the game and 20th of her career. She is now tied with Bridgette McNulty (2006-07) for second all-time in school history.
- Alyssa Palmieri went 2-for-4 in the game with two runs scored. She hit her team leading sixth double of the season.
- Memphis earned its first ever road conference sweep and first series win at UTEP.
- Memphis is now 12-1 when scoring in the first inning and 18-1 when scoring first this season.
- The Tigers have scored in 14 straight innings dating back to the fifth inning in game one of the series.
- Memphis recorded 14 hits in the game, the most this season and highest since recording 15 at UTEP during the 2009 season. Memphis recorded 30 hits in the three-game series.
- The Tigers are off to its best start in C-USA play, opening with a 6-3 league mark.
