Prep: Was a four-year letterwinner in volleyball at Minor High School .... Started on the varsity volleyball team as an eighth grader ... Also played basketball as a freshman at Minor ... Played at outside hitter with the volleyball squad and helped the team to a 2013 county championship ... Was a two-time, all-region honoree .... Says the highlight of her playing career was a five-set road win at rival Clay-Chalkville as a junior ... Both teams were undefeated heading in to the meeting and Gant downed the game-winning kill in the fifth set .... Also worked with the Feeding the Homeless Ministry in high school .... Played club ball with Southern Performance on Team Sting under coach Julie Dailey .... Was a four-year member of the honor roll and in top 25 of her graduating class of 215 students ... Was a member of the student council, a class representative and worked with the Heritage Panel and the School Broadcasting Network.
