Earned two top-eight discus throws during her first outdoor season...Was seventh at the Mississippi Open with a 39.16m (128' 5") discus throw...Was also seventh in the discus at her first Tiger Invitational with a 38.37m (125' 11") toss...Had personal bests in the discus throw (39.22m; 128' 8") and the shot put (13.34m; 43' 9.25") at the C-USA Outdoor Championships, finishing 13th and 10th, respectively.

2011 Indoor
Another freshman who earned all-conference honors during indoor season...Had two top-five shot put finishes: fifth at the SEMO Invite (12.82m; 42' 0.75") and fourth at the EIU Mega Meet (12.47m; 40' 11")...Was eighth at the C-USA Indoor Championships in the shot put, with a career-best 13.00m (42' 8") toss...Competed in the weight throw at four meets, with a personal-best 13.86m (45' 5.75") seventh-place finish at the SEMO Invite.

Prior to Memphis
2009 and 2010 Kansas state shot put champion for La Crosse High School...was fourth (2009) and eighth (2010) in the state in the discus...also played volleyball and basketball...was a member of the National Honor Society.
