Swathwood Qualifies for USGA Girl’s Junior Championship

BEACH PARK, Ill. – University of Memphis women's golfer Claire Swathwood qualified for the United States Golf Association's Junior Girl's Championship yesterday while also being named a Co-Medalist.
Swathwood, a freshman out of Carmel, Indiana, shot two under par to qualify at ThunderHawk Golf Club to qualify for the 2025 USGA Girl's Junior Championship set for July 14-19 at the Atlanta Athletic Club (Riverside Course) in Johns Creek, Georgia.
"I am so excited, and it feels incredible," Swathwood said. "I played a very solid round of golf. Qualifying for the US Girls Jr was one of my biggest goals this year and I'm very proud of the work I put in to achieve it."
The Riverside Course is a par 71, 6,312-yard course. The low 64 scorers will advance to match play.
