Memphis Women’s Golf Opens Fall Season in South Carolina

PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – The University of Memphis women's golf team opens its fall season Sunday in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, at the Golfweek Challenge at Caledonia Golf Club.
The three-day, 54-hole tournament runs Sunday, Sept. 6, through Tuesday, Sept. 8, with teams playing one 18-hole round each day. This marks the Tigers' second appearance in the event, following an eighth-place finish in 2015.
Memphis returns four returners from last season: Malia Cottriel, Pavarisa Jongpipittaporn, Nutsanun Khamphueng and Claire Todd. North Alabama transfer Sirichaya Chanpen joins the squad alongside incoming freshmen Hazel Cottriel and Maddie Smith.
