Tigers in Second, Swathwood Tied for First Following Day One of Diamante Intercollegiate

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The University of Memphis women's golf team had a spectacular outing on day one of the Diamante Intercollegiate. Following round one, the Tigers sit in second place while Claire Swathwood is tied for first place of all individual players.

Memphis, who shot seven under for round one, sits just three strokes behind Boston College.

For individuals, Swathwood shot a career round low of 66 (-6) with four birdies on the back nine of the course.Tilly Garfoot is not far behind Swathwood at one under par and in 13^th place while Emily Wilson and Pavarisa Jongpipittaporn are both tied for 24^th at an even 72 score.

Claire Todd rounds out the group at five over par.
