The Tigers (4-30, 1-14 AAC) struggled early on, allowing the Bulls (27-15, 7-8 AAC) to take a quick lead in the first inning. South Florida added two more runs before blowing the seventh inning wide open scoring five more runs to take a commanding 9-0 lead. Memphis hit a leadoff single to get things moving before putting up all six of their runs in the frame.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• South Florida got on the board early as Alanah Rivera singled to center field bringing in Rian Eigenmann in the first inning. The Bulls plated a second run in the frame as Eigenmann reached on an error by the shortstop.
• Memphis perfectly executed a run down at home plate as Kennedy Semien fired the ball off to Francesca Lumpp at home - who connected with McKaylee Polk at third before Taniyah Brown finally tagged the runner at the plate in the top of the third.
• The Bulls extended their lead once again in the top of the third frame as Rivera reached home on an error by third base.
• Presley Morris tallied the Tigers' first hit of the game, singling through the left side, however, would be left stranded in the bottom of the fourth inning.
• South Florida added to its lead as Kathy Garcia-Soto reached on an error by left field, making the score 4-0 in the top of the sixth.
• The Bulls put up four more runs in the top of the seventh frame, capitalizing on Tiger errors. Jordyn Kadlub scored South Florida's final run as Joslyn Wilkes grounded out to the pitcher.
• Morris hit a leadoff single up the middle to get things moving for Memphis in the bottom of the seventh. The Tigers added two base runners on back-to-back walks, loading the bases, before Arianna Cox-Cole sent a two-RBI double down the left field line bringing in Morris and Marley Maness.
• Semien laid down a bunt single, loading the bases once again, before Zoe Adebayo sent a sacrifice fly to center field, allowing Kelsie Adams to cut the lead to 9-3. Memphis kept up the momentum as Polk hit the Tigers second two-run double of the inning to the center field wall, bringing in Cox-Cole and Semien.
• The Tigers were able to plate one more run off the bat of Khamiyah Brown, before closing out the game, 9-6.
