Rock Named AAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week Again

IRVING, Texas – For the second-straight week, the American Athletic Conference named Harry Rock as its men's tennis Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
The University of Memphis junior had another big week on the court, earning the clinch point Saturday at Ole Miss from the No. 3 singles position. He had to come from behind to win 4-6, 7-6(3), 7-6(1), giving him a team-best 6-2 mark in singles action this spring.
He also earned the clinch point in last week's 4-3 win at Arkansas.
Rock teamed with Conor Gannon to win 6-3 at No. 2 doubles against the Rebels.
Memphis (7-2) returns to the court this weekend with a trip to Tampa, Florida to face a pair of AAC opponents. The Tigers will take on South Florida at 1:30 p.m. CT Friday before meeting Florida Atlantic at 1:30 p.m. CT Saturday.
