Undefeated Tigers Top Drake 5-2

Lincoln, Neb. – The University of Memphis men's tennis team topped Drake by a score of 5-2 at the Sid and Hazel Tennis Center in Lincoln, Nebraska at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The Tiger's pairing of Obrad Markovski/Marko Milosavljevic opened the contest with a 6-4 win, pushing them to a 3-0 record for the season. Sam Reeve/Marcos Castro Fabra clinched the doubles point for the Tigers after their 6-3 win at line one. The duo improved to 4-0 and the Tigers have won the doubles point in every match thus far.
The Tigers came out strong in singles, winning the first set of every match. No. 101 Moritz Kudernatsch claimed the second point for the Tigers after a dominant 6-2, 6-0 win. Junior Sam Reeve followed soon after, finishing off a 6-2, 6-4 victory. After taking the first set 7-5, Luis Carvalho clinched the match with a 7-5, 6-2 win. The remaining matches were played out. Redshirt freshman Seán Ó Nualláin claimed a 6-3, 6-4 win while Marko Milosavljevic and Keoni Puig McCallan both suffered defeats.
Memphis improved to 4-0 and will take on Nebraska tomorrow, Jan. 25, at 11 a.m.
