Kudernatsch Named American Conference Player of the Week

Memphis, Tenn. – University of Memphis men's tennis player Moritz Kudernatsch was named American Conference Player of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday.

The junior from Munich, Germany, played a vital role in the team's 4-3 victory over Harvard on Sunday, picking up wins at line one doubles and singles. His doubles win to start the match helped the Tigers secure the doubles point to take an early lead against the Crimson. Kudernatsch later clinched the match for the Tigers with a comeback 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 win over No. 109 Benjamin Privara on court one.

Kudernatsch, who is ranked No. 101 in the ITA Singles rankings, has been a crucial part of the Tigers' 3-0 start to the season.
