Memphis Gets Rained Out After Falling Against Western Michigan
Feb 25, 2023 | Softball
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Inclement weather ended the Memphis softball team's second day of the Frost Classic, rescheduling their game against UNLV, after falling in game one to Western Michigan 11-2. The Tigers' (2-11) struggles continued through the game, giving up six runs in the first two innings.
"We are shooting ourselves in the foot by walks, errors, of mental mistakes that lead to extra outs and at bats for the opposing team." said head coach Stephanie VanBrakle Prothro. "Softball is a game of adjustments and we need to learn to make quicker ones on both sides of the ball."
