Oct 08, 2023 | Men's Soccer
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Tiger men's soccer team pick up their first conference win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Tulsa on Sunday evening.
"I'm proud of the guys. We started the game really well with two quick goals and that was important," said head coach Richard Mulrooney. "Tulsa's a good team, but at the end of the day the guys put in an honest effort against a really good program and to get our first three points in conference play was our main goal tonight."
After tonight's game, Memphis moves to 6-3-2 for the season and 1-3 in AAC play.
