Tigers Wrap Up Regular Season with South Florida This Weekend

MEMPHIS, Tenn.- Looking to end their season on a high-note, the Tigers will welcome the Bulls of South Florida this weekend in their final regular season series.
Memphis (16-34, 2-13 AAC) has struggled in their last couple of games, getting shutout in their last three games and is currently on a seven-game losing skid.
Gracie Morton continues to be the constant in the Tigers offense with a 0.414 batting average, that ranks her third in the American Athletic Conference and in the top-40 in Division I, and a team-best 65 hits that ranks her second in the conference and 15th in the country. She also leads the team with four homeruns and 33 runs scored.
Kendall Lee and Camryn Wineinger have also been go-to's for the Memphis offense; both batting 0.313 for the season, the duo combines for 83 hits and 51 runs batted in this season.
Pitching wise, Hallie Siems and Mikayla Hoschak have made the most appearances for the Tigers this season with Siems leading the way with 98 strikeouts and a 4.04 ERA while Hoschak has punched 45 strikeouts with a 5.39 ERA in 31 appearances.
South Florida (39-13, 9-5 AAC) come into this weekend's series on a three-game winning streak that was extended when they swept Houston last weekend while outscoring them 13-0 over the series.
USF's Georgina Corrick has been the talk of the softball community as she continues her tear in the circle. Corrick leads the team with a 31-5 record with 18 solo shutouts, 357 strikeouts and a 0.44 ERA in 40 appearances.
Along with Corrick's pitching, the Bulls hitting has been steady with Alexis Johns leading the way with a 0.354 batting average and a team-best 52 hits and 46 runs scored. Meghan Sheehan is also batting above 0.300 for the season while Josie Foreman leads the team with six homeruns.
Play begins Friday night at 5 p.m. followed by 2 p.m. on Saturday and 12 p.m. on Sunday. Live stats for all games can be found on GoTigersGo.com while coverage of Sunday's game can be found on ESPN+.
The Tigers will celebrate Senior Day on Sunday prior to first pitch.
