The Tigers look to pick up their first AAC series win with losses in 10 of their last 11 conference games. Memphis did open up the series at Tulane April 1 with a win but lost the final three games of that series. The Green Wave have played just three games since their series vs. the Tigers, as their four-game series at USF was postponed, while their series finale vs. Wichita State was canceled on Sunday.
In non-conference play, the Green Wave picked up a win over Mississippi State, but also lost home series to Louisiana Tech and Grand Canyon. In AAC action, Tulane won the final three games of the series vs. the Tigers and swept an abbreviated three-game series vs. Wichita State last weekend.
