Made 21 appearances on the mound for Memphis and started at Mississippi State on May 9. His little brother, Parker, was the starting pitcher for the Bulldogs on the other side.
Struck out 26 batters over 24 innings.

Started each of the first two weekends of the season but left midway through his second start with an injury, and didn't appear again
Went 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA over 6.2 innings

Went 4-5 with a 4.96 ERA in 13 appearances, eight starts, for the Tigers
Struck out 40 in 49 innings, held opponents to a .258 OBA
Pitched a season-high eight innings and allowed just two runs against Houston (May 14)
Struck out season-high six vs. Tulane (April 23) and South Florida (May 7)
