DENTON, Texas – Memphis women's tennis added another win to their schedule with a 4-3 triumph over the host-school North Texas.

Lina Hohnhold clinched the match by winning the third-set tiebreaker of her singles match.

The Tigers had to climb out of a hole after dropping the doubles point to the Mean Green.

Singles proved to be back-and-forth affair, with teams splitting courts throughout. Laura Bente, Aran Teixido Garcia and Katherine Cao took straight-set wins to get the Tigers within a point of clinching the match.

Hohnhold clinched the match after a tiebreak in her third set. She took the first set 6-2, followed by a dropped second set 6-2 to set up the final stanza of the match. From there, Hohnhold took control of the tiebreak, winning 7-2.
