Jul 17, 2026 | Women's Tennis
TEMPE, Ariz. – The University of Memphis women's tennis program continued its success in the classroom as the Tigers were recognized as an ITA All-Academic Team, while five student-athletes earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced this week.
"I am proud of all our players, but especially of those recognized by the ITA for their hard work in the classroom. We stress the importance of their academics, and I know they work hard to strike a balance between their tennis and classwork. Go Tigers Go!" said head coach Hayden Perez.
Memphis earned ITA All-Academic Team recognition after posting a team grade point average above the required 3.2 threshold during the 2025-26 academic year. To qualify for the honor, all student-athletes on the institutional eligibility form and all varsity letter winners are included in the team's cumulative GPA.
Five Tigers were recognized individually as ITA Scholar-Athletes: Leonie Moeller, Natalia Koppova, Emma Dvorackova, Sofiia Mykhailets and Rebecca Frant.
Across Division I women's tennis, 1,501 student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, while 231 programs received ITA All-Academic Team recognition in 2026.
