Saturday marks the Pow6rful Minds game for Memphis
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's basketball team returns home Saturday afternoon for a 4 p.m. contest against USF at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse.

The Tigers will be participating in the American Athletic Conference's mental health initiative game, Pow6rful Minds, bringing awareness to the stigma surrounding mental health. The game will be streamed on ESPN3.

Mental Health Awareness Game

The Tigers enter Saturday's game with a 13-13 overall record. In Memphis' last contest, a road setback at Temple, freshman guard Madison Griggs broke the single-season three-point record with her 71sttriple of the season. Griggs finished with three treys in the contest, upping her season total to 73.Â

The AAC single-season record for most three-pointers by a freshman is 78, set by UConn's Katie Lou Samuelson.

Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu posted her team-leading 12th double-double at Temple, scoring 14 points while pulling down 10 rebounds. Fankam Mendjiadeu is second in the AAC in double-doubles and 21st nationally.

Saturday is the lone regular season contest against USF. The Tigers most recently defeated USF at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse in 2017 when USF was ranked No. 20 in the country. Memphis has defeated USF in two of the last three meetings.
