Bawden, Jackson will lead Tigers into the 3-day event at Vanderbilt Legends Club
FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The University of Memphis men's golf team will travel to the Nashville area Friday, Saturday and Sunday to participate in the Mason Rudolph Championship at the Vanderbilt Legends Club.
The Tigers will send Bradley Bawden, Nick Giles, Chase Harris, Isaiah Jackson and Borja Martin to compete in the 54-hole event, which will have the teams playing 18 holes each of the three days.
Memphis will be among 16 teams participating. Also in the field is fellow American Athletic Conference member Cincinnati, along with Kentucky, Mississippi State, Tennessee and Vanderbilt from the Southeastern Conference.
In its three spring events, the Tigers have finished third (Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate), sixth (Colleton River Collegiate) and fifth (Cleveland Golf Palmetto). Bawden was medalist at the Wexford Intercollegiate with a 4-under 212.
Giles is coming off a top-10 finish at the UNA Spring Classic at Killen, Ala. Giles shot 2-over 218 in the event held at Turtle Point Yacht & Country Club, where he and teammate Guillaume Chevalier were competing as individuals.
