Tigers welcome Lions to FedExPark

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis will continue its five-game home stand with a pair of midweek matchups against North Alabama at FedExPark on Monday and Tuesday.

In the sixth meeting between the two programs, Memphis will host North Alabama on Monday at 6 p.m. and cap the midweek slate on Tuesday at 4 p.m. Memphis leads the all-time series by a 4-1 advantage.
The Tigers will return to action after splitting a two-game series against Tulane. After a rain-soaked weekend condensed the league series to a doubleheader on Saturday, Memphis took the day's first game 11-8 before Tulane evened the weekend in Game 2.
Colton Neel enjoyed a 4-for-7 day in Memphis' doubleheader series split. The senior tallied four RBI in the two games. He plated two runs and connected on his first two home runs of the season. In the first game of the day, Neel also registered his seventh save of the season, striking out two of the three batters he faced to preserve the win.
North Alabama enters the week having won four of its last six contests. Also facing a rain-condensed series, the Lions split their weekend slate against North Florida. UNA dropped a 10-4 game on Thursday before taking an 8-4 win on Saturday.
The two sides share four common opponents this season in Arkansas Pine-Bluff, Lipscomb, Ole Miss and UT Martin. The Lions downed Ole Miss 10-6 in a midweek matchup on Apr. 2. UNA dropped two of three in their second series of the season against UT Martin and have yet to face Arkansas Pine-Bluff and conference foe Lipscomb.
