MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis track and field squad continues its outdoor campaign this weekend at Mississippi State's Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays in Starkville, Miss.
Action at the Mike Sanders Track Complex begins Friday at 10 a.m. (CT) with the field events. The running events start at 3 p.m. (CT). On Saturday, the field events start at 11 a.m. (CT), with the running events beginning at 1 p.m. (CT).
Memphis opened its outdoor season last weekend at the Rhodes Invitational.

- After not competing in a Mississippi State outdoor meet in 10 years, Kevin Robinson took his squad to Starkville, Miss., in 2018. He does so again this weekend for a second-straight year. Prior to their 2018 appearance at Mississippi State, the Tigers had last competed in a Bulldogs' outdoor meet in the spring of 2007.
- For the first time in her Memphis career, Saida Burns-Moore ran a sprint in last weekend's Rhodes Invitational. This weekend, she returns to her "regular" events in the women's high and triple jumps. Burns-Moore holds the outdoor school record in the high jump.
- In her collegiate debut last week, Amber Simpson set the school record in the women's hammer. This weekend, Simpson returns to the circle for the hammer and discus.
- Davon DeMoss returns to action this weekend after his participation in the NCAA Indoor Championships two weeks ago. DeMoss is scheduled to run in the men's 200 meters and both relays (4x100m/4x400m). DeMoss did not run in last weekend's outdoor opener at Rhodes College.
- Ashley Pryke goes after the 17thjavelin title of her career at Mississippi State. She won last year's javelin crown in Starkville.
