Tigers women's basketball set to take on Bearcats in Cincinnati

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The UofM women's basketball team rides a three-game winning streak into Cincinnati for a game against the Bearcats Saturday afternoon. Tip-off against Cincinnati is slated for 1 p.m. CT at Fifth Third Arena.

The Tigers roll into Cincinnati on a three-game winning streak, having defeated USF by a score of 47-40 on Wednesday night. Memphis used suffocating defense to get the win, forcing 22 turnovers and holding the Bulls to 31.1 percent shooting from the field and just 1-for-20 from beyond the arc. USF entered the contest averaging 69.2 points per game. IImar'I Thomas leads the Bearcats in scoring and rebounding. The reigning AAC Freshman of the Year has produced a good sophomore campaign, averaging 13.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. Miller leads Cincinnati with 100 assists, and carries a 2.08 assist-to-turnover ratio.
