Tigers Welcome No. 5 Arkansas to AutoZone Park Tuesday

High-powered Razorbacks come to Memphis
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis begins a five-game home stand by hosting No. 5 Arkansas Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at AutoZone Park. The Tigers (8-16) return home looking to bounce back after playing seven of the last eight games on the road.

Memphis and Arkansas will meet for the fourth-consecutive season and play at AutoZone Park for the third time in the last four seasons. The Tigers and Razorbacks played twice last season, once in Fayetteville and once in Little Rock.
The Razorbacks have won the last four meetings between the two teams. Memphis has hosted Arkansas three times at AutoZone Park (2011, 2015, 2016) and the Razorbacks have won all three.
The Tigers play six games against opponents from the state of Arkansas this season. Memphis went 1-2 against Little Rock earlier this season and still has two games scheduled against Arkansas State. In 1994, Memphis played eight games against schools from the Natural State.
Arkansas ranks among the top-10 in the nation offensively. The Razorbacks are batting .314 as a team and average 8.4 runs-per-game. Arkansas is second in the NCAA with 46 home runs through 24 games.
Danny Denz will make his fourth-consecutive midweek start. The Tigers sophomore lefthander has led the Tigers to three wins out of those four games. Denz has a 3.24 ERA in 25 innings pitched, with two quality starts.
The Tigers have another tough weekend ahead, hosting No. 25 UCF at FedExPark. The Knights (18-8) dropped two-of-three to ECU to start conference play.
