Tigers back home for one game before hitting the road again
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis baseball team makes a brief return to FedExPark to host Mississippi Valley State Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. for another $1 Hot Dog Night.
The Tigers (7-13), who snapped a five-game losing streak Sunday at North Florida, are in the midst of a stretch of playing 7-of-8 games away from home.

Tyler Webb snapped a two-game hitless streak and broke out with a big game Sunday at North Florida. Webb was 3-for-5 with two runs scored. He leads the team with a .333 batting average, 25 hits, nine doubles and 12 runs scored.
Memphis will be looking to win back-to-back games for just the second time this season. The Tigers' last consecutive wins were against Southeast Missouri (2/27) and Middle Tennessee (3/2).
The Delta Devils are coming off of a series win over Alcorn State to open conference play. Delta State has a 3-15 overall record and is batting .192 as a team with an 11.90 staff ERA.
Memphis will hit the road again this weekend for the first series of American Athletic Conference play, against Houston.
