Tigers Volleyball: Get To Know Kronberg

It's over a week away from the University of Memphis volleyball team's 2017 season opener and only three days until the Tigers' Blue-Gray Scrimmage. The scrimmage is Saturday at 11 a.m. (CT) at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse, with a youth clinic (8th grade and under) to follow.
In preparation for the 2017 season, GoTigersGo.com is introducing this year's newcomers. Today's "Get To Know Me" is freshman Alyssa Kronberg, a libero from Palatine, Illinois. Kronberg was an all-state player with nearly 1,700 career digs at Palatine High School. She also plays the ukulele and juggles.

- What did you do this past summer? Played a lot of volleyball; also spent time hanging out with my friends and doing fun things

- If you were a superhero, what super power would you have? Be invisible
- If you could compete in another sport, which sport would it be? Why? Gymnastics because it's a sport you can "show off" in, and gymnasts are strong
- Do you have a hidden talent? If so, what?  I can juggle … really well. I can stay in a handstand for 30-plus seconds
