Tigers and Knights currently tied for third place in The American standings

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis softball team returns to the Tigers Softball Complex this weekend for its third conference series of the 2017 season. This weekend, the Knights of UCF travel to Memphis for single games on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. First pitch on Friday night is scheduled for 5 p.m.

This weekend, the Tigers will have two promotions on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, fans will receive a custom Memphis spatula while supplies last and on Sunday, the first 100 fans will receive a custom Memphis water bottle.

3 - As a team, Memphis ranks fourth in the NCAA in triples per game with 0.47. The 18 triples hit by Memphis this season surpassed the previous single season high of 11.
6 - Where the Tigers rank in the NCAA in stolen bases per game and where Lindsay Crowdus ranks nationally in hits.
25 - The total number of stolen bases that Kyler Trosclair has this season, which is now a career-high for the junior from Houma, La. She is three shy of matching Hannah Harrell's record of 27 in a season set last year.
58 - The number of hits Lindsay Crowdus has had this season, which topped a previous season-high of 45 in 2016. Against Tulsa last weekend, she became the all-time hits leader at Memphis. Currently she has 212 career hits.

A Look At The Competition
• UCF enters the weekend with a 19-17 overall record and 3-3 mark in American Athletic Conference play.
• With the 3-3 conference record, UCF is tied for third place with Memphis. The Knights took the series from East Carolina and went 1-2 against Houston earlier this season.
• Linnea Goodman leads the Knights offensively with a .349 batting average and 38 hits. Four players are averaging over .300 for the Knights with three players recording at least 30 hits.
• UCF has stolen 64 bases this season, which is the second-most behind Memphis. Both the Tigers and the Knights have a team batting average of .283.
• As a pitching staff, the Knights carry a team ERA of 3.63. Manami Calixto leads the squad with a 3.03 ERA and Alea White has pitched a team-high 130.0 innings.
• White has also struck out a team-high 64 batters.
