Cross Country Heads to Evansville

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The University of Memphis men's and women's croc country teams will travel to Indiana to compete in the University of Evansville Invitational. The women's race is set for 10 a.m., with the men's race to follow.
Last weekend the men's and women's teams both competed at the Brooks Memphis Twilight Classic.
The women's team placed 12th out of 41, and was led by junior Emily Malinowski who placed 19th out of a field of 329 competitors.
The men's team had an impressive showing by freshman Jacob Chapman as they finished 19th out of 42 teams.
This is Memphis' last meet before the Conference USA Championships, which will be held in Santa Teresa, N.M., hosted by UTEP on October 27.
