Memphis, Tenn. - The University of Memphis women's soccer team fell Sunday afternoon to an aggressive South Florida Bulls team by a score of 7-0. The loss brings the Lady Tigers record to 4-4 on the season and 0-2 in conference play.
C-USA preseason player of the year Siri Nordby, a South Florida midfielder, racked up four goals on the afternoon, including a penalty kick late in the game. Tia Oplinger, Danielle Aldrich, and Julie Lechner each added one goal.
The loss is the second in a row for the Lady Tigers, who will attempt to end the slide against DePaul on Friday evening at home. Game time is 7:00 at Echles field.
