Bailey Honne
- Title:
- Director of Softball Operations
Bailey Honne joined the Memphis softball staff on July 13, 2026 as the program's director of operations. In her role, she will oversee day-to-day operations and manage travel, scheduling and game-day logistics.
“I am thrilled to finalize my coaching staff with Bailey,” Prater said. She has a passion for doing the little things right. She loves the game and wants to be a servant leader for the team and coaching staff. I believe she’s the perfect fit for what the team will need in an operations/coaching role. Her drive to be better and her attention to detail was what I appreciated during this hiring process.
Honne, a native of Surprise, Arizona, was a member of the Colby Community College staff from 2025-26, specializing in pitching and helping Colby CC continue a streak of six seasons with at least 28 wins.
Prior to Colby CC, Honne was the head softball coach at Fort Hays Tech Northwest from 2022-24, also serving as the direct liaison between the program and the athletics and campus departments, along with focusing in on community outreach and alumni engagement. She also managed communications, marketing and community engagement efforts for the program.
Honne’s collegiate playing career features experience pitching at Scottsdale Community College (2015-17) and Ottawa University Arizona (2017-19). She also has experience coaching players at the high school and early collegiate levels, also having worked as a private pitching instructor in Phoenix, Arizona and Colby, Kansas.
Honne holds an associate of science degree from Scottsdale Community College, a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Ottawa University Arizona and a master’s degree in business arts: sports management from Fort Hays State University.
