2017 (Junior):
Named to the All-AAC second team, Gauthier was a captain of the Tigers squad … was a leader of the defense that recorded eight shutouts, including four in the first five matches of the season … recorded two assists on the year, one against Samford (8/18) and one against UAB (8/27) … led the team in minutes with 1877 minutes of field time … routinely defended opponent forwards, stopping attacking runs in their tracks … took free kicks from the back line, allowing the Tigers to press forward to attack.
2016 (Sophomore):
Led the team in minutes played in 2016, logging 1,846 minutes across her 20 starts as captain … named to the All-AAC second team, as well as the NSCAA All-Northeast Region third team ... she played 90+ minutes in all games except for one, playing 88 minutes in a 5-1 win against Cincinnati (10/9) … Gauthier anchored the defense that produced 9 shutouts and only allowed 18 goals all season … she recorded one assist this season, assisting Valerie Sanderson’s 47th minute goal in the opener against Southeastern Louisiana (8/19).
2015 (Freshman):
Gauthier played a pivotal role in her freshman season, starting all 19 matches, mostly as a midfielder … named to the All-AAC Rookie team … an extremely reliable player, she logged 1,730 minutes, more than any other Tiger freshman … notched three assists during the season, including on game-winning goals against UT Martin and Idaho … served as the Tigers’ primary set-piece taker throughout the season … made first career appearance in defense and played all 90 minutes in the 1-0 shutout win over UT Martin.
Prior to Memphis:
Was a valuable asset to Shattuck-St. Mary’s success in the past few years, where she played for coach Joe Demay … was called into the U-15 Canadian National Team camp, as well as being a prospect for the U-17 Women’s World Cup in 2013 … took part in the 2013 Canada Games, representing Team New-Brunswick ... competed in the All-Star Nationals in 2011-2013 as a member of the Atlantic Team.
Personal:
She is the daughter of Bryan and Shelley Gauthier … spends her free time watching movies, hanging out with friends and snowboarding … plans to major in engineering at the University of Memphis ... a biomedical engineering major.
