         Will be counted on to hold down a significant role in the Tiger bullpen as a "go-to        guy"...Excellent competitor who has coaches excited with his swing-and-miss stuff.
2009 (Sophomore)
         Memphis' top reliever...Led staff with a 3.86 ERA and 19 appearances...Went 2-1 with two        saves...Compiled 35 strikeouts and held opponents to a .211 batting average...Averaged nine        strikeouts per nine innings...Was 2-1 with a 3.06 ERA in C-USA action...League hitters        batted .183 against him...Had a stretch of nine-straight innings (five outings) without        giving up an earned run (Apr.11-21)...Fanned eight and limited Marshall (0 er, 2 so, 1.1        ip), Rice (0 er, 2 so, 1.2 ip) and Houston (0 er, 4 so, 3.0 ip) to a combined three        unearned runs in first three C-USA outings...Had a string of nine innings without        surrendering an earned run (4/11-4/21)...Struck out a season-high four in three innings to        for first win of the year vs. Houston (4/18/09)...Held Tulane to one run in 3.2 innings to        earn win (4/25/09)...Allowed one hit in three scoreless relief innings versus USM        (5/10/09)...Recorded saves in consecutive outings against SIU-Edwardsville (4/11/09) and        UCA (4/14/09).
