A three-year letterman for former Tiger skipper Jeff Hopkins at Collierville High School...Earned All-Shelby-Metro and TBCA All-Region 8AAA honors after guiding Collierville to a 35-12 finish and a Region championship...Led the Dragons to a 29-5 finish and a 2008 District title as a junior...Hit a scorching .538, with 51 runs scored, 27 RBI, 19 walks and three home runs...Was tabbed Commercial Appeal Player of the Week accolades on April 10, 2008 after going 4-for-4 and hitting for the cycle versus White Station...Named the 2008 CHS Baseball MVP...Selected to the 2008 Commercial Appeal All-Metro team...Was a 2008 Tennessee Sports Writers Association (TSWA) First Team All-State performer...2008 TBCA All-Region player...TBCA All-State Second Teamer...Selected to play for Team Tennessee in the 2008 Junior Sunbelt Showcase...Voted to the Tennessee Baseball Report's Class AAA D-2 Team...Named to the TBCA Region 7-8 Team at the TBCA Showcase...Garnered All-tournament honors at the 2008 USA High School Challenge.
