In game one, Memphis erupted for 10 runs on 10 hits, using a pair of multi-run innings and late insurance to secure the 10-6 victory in a game that was suspended after the seventh inning Saturday and resumed Sunday afternoon. The Tigers built a 7-5 lead before weather halted play, then tacked on three runs in the ninth after the restart to pull away, overcoming a four-run Rice seventh-inning surge.

In game three, Memphis rallied from a three-run deficit and scored the go-ahead run in the 10th inning to claim a 6-5 extra-inning win and complete the series sweep. After falling behind 5-2 midway through the game, the Tigers chipped away with runs in the eighth and ninth before taking the lead on a sacrifice fly in the 10th.
Logan Rushing (1-2) earned the win with three scoreless innings out of the bullpen, while Ty Thames (2-3) was charged with the loss for Rice.
Memphis will take its five-game win streak south to Starkville, Mississippi for a midweek game against the ranked Bulldogs. First pitch is set for 6:05 p.m.
