Softball to Begin Ticketing for 2026 Season, Clear Bag Policy to be Implemented
Jan 21, 2026 | Softball
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis has announced the softball program will become the university's sixth ticketed sport, with single-game tickets set to go on sale next week. Additionally, a clear bag policy will be implemented for all games at Tigers Softball Complex starting this season.
Single-game tickets will be $7 (general admission) plus fees in advance and $10 plus fees at the gate for reserved seating in the bleachers, with tickets for standing room only areas being $5 plus fees for all regular season home games with the exception of the 901 Classic (Feb. 13-15), Blues City Invitational (Feb. 20-22) and games vs. Oklahoma (March 18) and Ole Miss (March 31). Single-game ticket prices are also subject to change throughout the season.
Select contests will feature different pricing as Memphis' March 18 game against Oklahoma will be $30 in advance and $40 plus fees at the gate, while the March 31 matchup against Ole Miss will be $15 in advance and $20 plus fees at the gate.
For those contests versus Oklahoma and Ole Miss, only Memphis Athletic Fund (MAF) members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets.
Reserved seating in the bleacher areas of the complex will be indicated by a color-coded wristband, which will ensure access to those areas of the stands to those who have purchased numbered seats.
Tickets will be free for all current University of Memphis students. Up to two fans ages 17 and under will be allowed free admission per paid adult that enters with them. Tickets for children ages 17 and under will be for the standing room only section. Reserved seating tickets must be purchased if adults would like them to have a seat in the bleachers.
For the 901 Classic and Blues City Invitational, single-day passes will be offered for $15 plus fees and fans will be given a color-coded wristband that will allow them access to all games for that specific day. Single-game tickets will not be available for these contests.
Tickets will be able to be purchased using THIS LINK upon release next week.
PARKING INFORMATION
Free parking will be available at Lot 63, the parking lot beyond the left-field area of FedExPark Avron Fogelman Field.
CLEAR BAG POLICY TO BE IN PLACE
Similar to policies at the FedExForum, FedExPark Avron Fogelman Field, Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium and Elma Roane Fieldhouse, the size and type of bags that may be brought to any event at Tigers Softball Complex have been limited. Only bags meeting the following standards will be allowed inside:
Clear bags are limited to one per person. Exceptions to this policy will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection.
Limiting the size and style of bags carried into the complex will enhance safety inside and outside the home of Memphis softball and speed up the security screening process for all fans.
MEDIA INFORMATION
Also similar to policies at the aforementioned facilities, media members will be required to be credentialed. As press box space is limited, please reach out to Steven Spehar at least 24 hours in advance to best work out accommodations if possible.
2026 SEASON PREVIEW
The program becomes ticketed ahead of its 21st season, its 20th season at Tigers Softball Complex (2006 season spent at Greenbrook Park in Southaven, Mississippi) and the second season under head coach Trena Prater.
Under Coach Prater, the program reached levels of success that had not been seen since the 2018 and 2019 seasons. The Tigers recorded their highest overall win total since the 2019 season, while also securing the highest conference win total and first American Conference Tournament win since 2018.
The Tigers return 13 players from the 2025 campaign, including both hitting and pitching leaders. At the plate, Neely Taylor and Kennedy Semien return after both hitting over .300 last season. In the circle, three arms return in Rylee Dugar, Jericho Tate and Taniyah Brown, with Dugar being the staff's returning leader in wins.
The 2026 roster is also filled with newcomers as a freshman class of four and a transfer class of eight are expected to make an impact, including Iowa transfer Mya Clark, UCF transfer Deana Cunningham and freshman Avery Stutts among others.
Other home games at Tigers Softball Complex this season will feature contests against South Florida (March 6-8), North Alabama (March 11), East Carolina (March 20-22), Tulsa (March 27-29), Alabama A&M (April 7), Alcorn State (April 14), North Texas (April 17-19) and Florida Atlantic (April 24-26).
