Tigers Pick Up Six Wins in Season Opening Day

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – In the opening day of the Memphis Invitational, the No. 57 Memphis Tigers picked up six wins, three doubles and three singles win, against Middle Tennessee.

Kicking things off, the duos of Leonie Moeller/Emma Dvorackova and Sofia Mykhailets/Clemence Thouard both defeated their opponents 6-4 while newcomers Natalia Koppova/Alica Mall breezed to a 6-1 victory over Sara Conde/Sze Xuan Lim.

In singles play, Moeller and Mykhailets both swept their opponents in two sets while Koppova took down her opponent 4-6, 6-3, 6-2.
