Doerr Adds Markovski to Upcoming Roster

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis men's tennis coach Chris Doerr continues to add power to his roster with the signing of Obrad Markovski to the 2025-26 squad.

"We are very excited about Obrad," Doerr said. "He has a wealth of experience on the pro tour as well as playing high for his team. His has a very solid lefty game with the ability to be explosive from the baseline. He will be a great addition for Memphis I am particularly excited to see him give our fans something to cheer about."

Markovski comes to Memphis after playing one season at Division II powerhouse Limestone. The 66^th-ranked Markovski finished last season with a 12-1 record at the No. 1 position as a freshman and helped the Saints to a top 35 ranking in the ITA team rankings.

Along with his breakout collegiate career, Markovski has competed in the Davis Cup for Macedonia and, just recently, made the finals in a pro event in doubles last week in Serbia.
